Nashville, TN – Saying goodbye is never easy. This rings true for Carolyne, Caroline and Jordan of Fervent Records' pureNRG, who are wrapping up their successful music career as one of Christian music’s most popular teen pop groups. Today, July 20, available for physical and digital release, the group will release their sixth and final album – a CD/DVD package – fittingly titled, Graduation: The Best of pureNRG.
Graduation: The Best of pureNRG, is a compilation of tunes that highlights the dynamic career of the teen pop group since their debut in 2007. Fans weighed in on what they wanted from the release by voting on the track selections for the album through the group’s web site, www.pureNRGonline.com. The CD/DVD package also includes two brand new tracks, “Dive” (made popular by Steven Curtis Chapman) and “Hands and Feed” (made popular by Audio Adrenaline), as well as videos of their singles, “Footloose,” “What If,” “Here We Go Again” and “Radio.”
“We wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for all of our amazing fans,” says pureNRG. “It just made sense to focus this album completely on what our fans wanted and we’ve had such a blast connecting with our fans on a more personal level. This album is a thank you from us to all our fans for their continual love and support over the years.”
pureNRG has lit up both the mainstream and Christian music industry with a combined total of eight CD and DVD releases. Their self-titled debut album earned the Top Selling Artist at Christian Retail in 2007 and Radio Disney featured them as an Incubator Artist, adding their song, “Footloose” to the Radio Disney playlist. Their sophomore project, Here We Go Again, landed at #2 on the Christian Soundscan chart and on iTunes’ Top 10 Christian Albums. Their latest album, The Real Thing, debuted at #20 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart and #1 on the Christian Soundscan chart. pureNRG has shared the stage with notable acts such as TobyMac, Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Skillet and Brandon Heath, to name a few.
